Spearfishing Thailand is a one-man operation. I'm Diego. I hold Rob Allen's Thailand distributorship, and I pack every order by hand from the post office a hundred metres from my house in Lamai.
The story
How this started.
In 2018 the previous Rob Allen Thailand distributor, Charlie, decided to move on. I bought the distributorship off him for 100,000 baht and took over. From 2018 through 2023 I ran Spearfishing Thailand as a side business while building my web studio, Wellvio.
Orders came in through Facebook, Lazada, Shopee, and the old spearfishingthailand.com site. I held stock at home. I hand-packed every parcel. Lifetime warranties got handled with a direct line to Rob Allen HQ in Durban.
In 2024 and 2025 I paused operations to focus on web work. In early 2026 I looked at the Thai spearfishing market again. Grey-market listings had only gotten worse. Marketplaces had gotten stricter about suspending spearfishing listings. And there was still nobody in country offering a legitimate, brand-backed Rob Allen channel.
So I'm back. New site, new first shipment on the water from Durban, same lifetime warranty commitment.
