Before you buy
Do I need dive gloves in Thailand?
Yes — coral, urchins, and line burns are the usual reasons. 5mm HPPE gloves from Rob Allen are cut-resistant and warm enough for long sessions.
Weight belt — rubber or webbing?
Rubber belts stay in place when you duck-dive. Webbing belts are cheaper but ride up. For freedive spearfishing, rubber is the answer.
